The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam

I stayed at The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam. It’s a very large, bustling, 4 star hotel. A month prior to my trip, I arranged via email for the hotel car service to pick me up from the airport. This was the first time I used this service. After a long flight with connections I knew that I didn’t want to take public transportation or get a cab. My flight was a bit delayed but the driver waited patiently with my name written on a sign. This is actually more affordable then you may think.

Here’s just a few offerings of the hotel 2 different towers, 2 areas of roof top pools, variety of delicious breakfast buffet options. Bars and cafes with really nice seating on different floors. In this big hotel, I also noticed quite a few seating areas where it felt serene and removed from the city.

• It has a local feel with markets
• provides daily tours than can be customized to you or your group
• walkable to the Erawan shrine. Try and catch the dancers.
• there is a huge mall and park within walking distance

I went in December 2022 and the hotel was decorated in festive Christmas delight. It just a nice touch that make you feel warm and welcomed. Service was exceptional!

Tip:

if you need a taxi and have not downloaded Grab, ask the doorman to hail a cab for you. If you happen to get into a cab, make sure the driver turns on the meter.
