Ibiza
We stayed at:
Aguas de Ibiza
Located in the Santa Eulalia neighborhood. We were so impressed with the resort hotel! Beautiful and welcoming entrance. Customer service and concierge were very attentive. As I walked in for the for the first time, I was immediately help with our bags and then offered champagne or water. What a warm greeting after a long plane flight!
There are a variety of rooms to select from. I chose the Deluxe because I knew I wanted a view and couch seating.
This area is great for couples and families. There is a beautiful walkable promenade filled with restaurants that overlook the beach.
Hotel and airline were booked through Expedia. The hotel confirmed reservation immediately by text and/or email. Closer to my date of arrival the hotel sent me a Whats App message.
For the airlines, I went online to select and purchase seats. Expedia put together an itinerary connecting flights with close timelines which had very little wait time. It all worked out and caught all the flights on time.
Expedia also offers travel insurance for purchase.
Transportation:
Rideshare such as Uber is not available on the island. If you don’t plan on renting a car or scooter, taxis are pretty much the only option.
From the airport, you can que up at the taxi stand.
My hotel concierge advised me to have a local establishment that you’re at to call a taxi for you. So after eating at a restaurant or beach club, we asked them to call us a taxi. And they were more than happy to do so. Taxi companies will be more inclined to answer from a local phone number.
